We treat nannies as professionals — free to join, fairly matched, and supported through vetting from application to placement.
Free to apply and register. Families pay through all-in hourly rates — nannies never pay to join the network.
Roles that fit your location, schedule, and experience. We only reach out with family profiles you'd actually want to meet.
Every family enquiry is reviewed before we make an introduction. You'll only meet households with clear requirements and verified contact details.
Full-time, part-time, live-in, after-school, or overnight — choose the arrangement that suits your life and career goals.
We guide you through DBS or PVG, identity checks, references, interview, and insurance verification — step by step, not all at once.
Need public liability cover? Eligible nannies can claim up to £59 towards their first annual policy once vetting is complete — we verify certificates before every placement.
We maintain high standards to ensure every family gets the very best care. Here's what you'll need to join. Every nanny passes the same 6-step vetting process before matching.
Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable professional childcare experience - as a nanny, nursery worker, au pair, or similar role.
A current Enhanced DBS certificate is required for England and Wales. Scottish applicants must hold a valid PVG Scheme membership.
Two professional references who can speak to your childcare experience. We contact references personally - not just by email.
You must have legal right to work in the UK. We verify identity documents (passport or biometric residence permit) during the vetting process.
Valid UK public liability insurance is required before your first placement. We verify your certificate during onboarding. If you need a new policy, eligible nannies can claim up to £59 back on their first annual premium after vetting.
A current Paediatric First Aid certificate is not always mandatory but is strongly preferred and will significantly improve your chances of placement.
We review your application, childcare experience, and availability before any document checks begin.
We verify your Enhanced DBS certificate (or PVG Scheme membership in Scotland) is genuine, in date, and matches you.
We verify photo ID, proof of address where required, and your legal right to work in the UK.
We contact at least two professional referees personally to confirm your childcare experience and reliability.
A call with a Nannvo team member to discuss your background, safeguarding approach, and the roles you're looking for.
We verify valid UK public liability cover before your first placement. Eligible nannies can claim up to £59 towards their first annual policy.
